Jessica Allen graduated as salutatorian from Troy High School in Fullerton, California before graduating from UC Berkeley with a double major in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science and her teaching credential in just three years. She has years of experience as a full-time high school math and computer science teacher in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. She has experience teaching everything from preschool (Head Start) to Masters (Cal Poly Pomona, New Mexico State University, University of South Carolina). Her most proud achievements are her students going to schools like Harvard and Berkeley as well as winning national recognition from organizations like the National Center for Women in Information Technology and Quest Bridge. From math basics to complex analysis and Scratch first steps to artificial intelligence, Jessica loves helping people reach their goals while having fun. In her free time, Jessica loves genealogy (family history), reading, and practicing foreign languages.
