Just like our academic subject tutoring, our 1:1 in-person and online test prep tutoring is aimed to provide personalized tutoring tailored to your child’s individual test prep needs.
Taught by masters level teachers and tutors with 5+ years of experience teaching test prep, our Test Prep program has been proven to raise test scores and give students skills that they can use on the test (and continue to use in school as well!)

Who should choose Test Prep Elite?
For students taking the SAT who are either:
Unable to make SPP’s Group Test Prep Course
Scoring less than 1200 overall
Scoring over 1200, and want to improve your score on both Math & Reading/Writing Modules
If scoring over 1200, and you only want to improve your score on either Math or Reading/Writing, then Essentials is likely enough
For students taking the ACT who are either:
Scoring less than 25 overall
Scoring over 25, and want to improve your score on 3 or more modules of the test
If scoring over 25, and you only want to improve your score on 1-2 sections, then Essentials is likely enough

Private packages are nonrefundable. However, the funds can be applied to other types of tutoring services instead of test prep.
Rescheduling in-person practice exams: Subject to our normal cancellation policy of needing more than 24 hours’ notice.

Our group classes are limited to 6 students per class to ensure that every student gets as much individualized attention while also benefitting from engaging and stimulating peer and teacher-led discussions. Group classes are taught by masters level teachers and tutors with 5+ years of experience teaching test prep.
We keep our classes small to ensure that your child gets the most individualized attention as possible. Our program has been proven to raise test scores and give students skills that they can use on the test and continue to use in school as well. All of our classes are currently held in person in our Kirkland office.
Not only do our test prep courses include strategies for the Digital SAT (DSAT) and new online Enhanced ACT, they also cover how to set up your device properly so that students are fully prepared on testing day.
NOTE: All colleges accept both the ACT and SAT for Fall 2027 admissions.

PRACTICE EXAMS: We recommend that students take practice exams in our office in the presence of a proctor in order to simulate the real test as closely and as frequently as possible. However, If you CANNOT attend a scheduled practice exam in person, you may take this exam digitally at home through Test Innovators.
DEVICES: Just like the regular SAT, students are expected to provide their own devices. Click for a list of SAT approved devices. Please bring the device you intend to take the official DSAT (Digital SAT) with you to all practice exams and class sessions.

All prices are the prices listed for testing without accommodations. Depending on the type of accommodations, there may be additional costs for proctoring their in-person practice exams.
Registration is open to 6 students and will then move to a waitlist. Courses have a two student minimum. If the minimum is not met, you will be given the option to either apply the credit to Private Test Prep or other tutoring services, or cancel for a full refund. These courses do sell out.
A withdrawn course registration will be refunded 50% up to 7 days before the start of the class. Cancellations made within 7 days of the start of the class will not be refunded.

Whether you prefer to take a test from the comfort and safety of your own home or come into our office to take a test, we provide practice tests that are written by the official test-makers of ACT and SAT.
